I am 8 years old and I like to play with my grey, yellow and orange cockatiel. I throw her a ball with a bell inside it and she runs after it.

Holy Thursday Liturgy
Holy Thursday Liturgy
It was now the time of Passover. Jesus’ followers came to Him and said, “We will go and prepare everything for the Passover Feast. Where do you want to eat the feast?” Jesus answered, “Go into the city. A man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him. He will go into a house. Tell the owner of the house, “The teacher wants you to prepare the room for the Passover meal.” So the followers left and went into the city and prepared the Passover Feast.
In the evening, Jesus went to that house with the twelve. While they were eating, Jesus took the bread and gave God thanks and praise. He broke the bread, gave it to his disciples, and said: “Take this, all of you, and eat it; this is my body which will be given up for you.”

When supper was ended, he took the cup. Again he gave God thanks and praise, gave the cup to his disciples, and said: “Take this, all of you, and drink from it; this is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me.”After some time, Jesus got up from the table and went to a different part of the room. He put a large towel around him, making himself look like a servant. After that, he poured water into a large bowl and began to wash the disciples' feet. He then dried them with the towel that was wrapped around Him.

When Jesus had finished washing all of the disciples’ feet, he returned to the table. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" Jesus asked them.
Jesus is like a King - but even greater than a king, He's the King of Kings! By washing the disciples’ feet, He was doing something that only a servant would do.
This is an example of how you should treat others. You don't have to actually wash other people's feet, but do kind things to others and act like a servant for Jesus.

Waka Racing
Today, we walked to the riverbank to watch the Regatta waka races.
Harrigan’s crew was rowing next. We moved into the shade, and it was so hot. I was boiling. We were excited. Room 1/2/3 and 4 were there as well. We were shouting Go! St Paul’s when they went past us then everyone ran up the steep hill to see Harrigan’s crew start then we ran down the hill to see the waka come down the river. They were rowing fast against the water and the wind. The paddles were turning forwards and round and round.
It was an amazing day. Harrigan’s crew came second. We shouted yahoo hurray.
After the fifth race, Mrs Thomson said to our whole class, we are leaving. We lined up then we walked back to school.

Hot Air Balloon Day
Today our whole school went out to our school field when I saw the there was a huge hot air balloon on our field.
There was a penguin on the balloon.
First Mrs Thomson went in the balloon. She was vidioing on her camera.
When Mrs Thomson was done, Mr Keogh went up into the Balloon .
I was lining up for a ride. Paige, Ruby, Keira and I went together on the hot air balloon. When it was our turn, we climbed into the balloon, then Clare said to the men, "Don't hurt my Gym girls."
They said, "Ok."
We went up very calmly and gracefully. We went up very high. When we came down the penguin was squashed. We had to be patient and have faithfulness.
Before I went on the hot air balloon, I had to be hopeful. The hot air balloon was very colourful. The colours were yellow, red, orange and maroon. The basket was made out of cane and there was a blanket over the cane. We hovered above the ground. I was boiling like crazy. At the end, my Mum went up with Quinn’s mum in the hot air balloon then they put the hot air balloon down. Our whole school helped to get it down. It was amazing.
